  • First of all, thank you for all that you do!

I just recently started playing DA:I. For most games I take screenshots of, I use FRAPS for the picture taking, Flawless Widescreen to fix issues in older games when playing in 21:9 monitors, and HattiWatti’s Cinematic Tools for the free camera.

Anyways, my usual screenshots with this above method, at 3440x1440 resolution, is around 14 MB. It looks good, but is no where close to the details I see from people using Simple Runtime Window Editor (SRWE) to increase the resolution, once the location of your camera is in place. I have followed the YouTube videos to try and use SRWE, but the dimensions keep resetting after I click back on the game to take the shot. Is there a way to get SRWE to work with an ultra widescreen game monitor?

    - run the game in windowed mode, not full screen or borderless
    - use the latest srwe: https://github.com/dtgDTGdtg/SRWE/releases/tag/SRWE_v231
    - See the guide here: https://github.com/dtgDTGdtg/SRWE about 'EXITSIZEMOVE'.
the latest srwe comes with a lot of presets for resolutions, you can use these to create your own or simply use them
  • How were the Injustice 2 screenshots taken here:

I just bought the game and it's installing but thought I'd do some research.

Can't find any info on a photo mode in-game, or a freecam by anyone; nor is anyone using any reshade/sweetfx (at least no one's uploaded any anywhere)

Cheat-Engine I assume, Twitter has a lot more info on some of this and occasionally there's full .CE tables available too.

    Example here:

    And here:

Manipulating the very game engine in regards to shaders, lighting and other effects and of course camera management and being able to pause the game. :)

The more well known public tools short of Cheat-Engine and hoping there's a table available unless you're willing to spend a lot of time learning how to hack different games yourself well that's probably HattiWatt1's utilities for the Frostbite engine and a few other games, regular patches can and will break compatibility though.

OtisInf also posts camera tools via Github for a number of titles.

I don't think either Injustice, Injustice 2 or Mortal Kombat X are supported though but there might be CE tables available, sadly the main CE forums were lost last year after extensive DDoS activity and a (fake?) DMCA complaint or how they're called, Fearless is now the main source for these from what I know though much of the info in the old forum was lost even if most of the tables could be salvaged.

Since them some more well known authors also stepped down such as Sunbeam recently following never ending requests for new features and help on how to use some of these despite a lengthy post explaining these steps including even detailing how the hacks were made. :)
(It's pretty telling for tables such as the one that resulted from Dark Souls 3 hacking to have dozens of dozens of options and then the topic is filled with pages and pages of requests for even more and some less than subtle hints of how to mess with the online aspects of the game from anti-cheat behavior to almost outright controlling other players.)

EDIT: There's trainers too but this also resulted in a business like behavior from for example long established Cheat-Happens operating on a near subscription model, they do get results though (And what is likely a lot of money even if there's probably a lot of spending's involved in acquiring all the different games and such.)
Especially for online games where you can have hacks from games just released a few days ago because there's such a demand and so much money in this practice and some users just don't care and just purchase new copies (Gray market for example.) if they end up banned and then just keep playing.

For single-player though? I don't really care and I'm glad there are available utilities for several higher-profile games available and that they're supported as well as they are in this day with almost broken PC ports on launch at worst and for some titles there's a dozen+ patches not counting stuff like early access or indie where there can be daily updates or multiple daily updates. :)

Otis updated the AC Origins table just a day or two ago I believe but patch 1.06 should hit later this week or early next week in time for the new content that launches December 12th I think it was?
(So probably the update will hit a few days ahead of that.)
  • Thank you for the twitter links, I hadn't seen those. Yeah, I might've come off as oblivious but I've actually released one or two tables on the old CE forums. I didn't want to make a new topic but maybe that would've been the best thing for Injustice 2.

Damn, I hope there will be someone coming through with a table for it because those screenshots look incredible. (And I semi-spontaneously bought the game in hopes of taking some screens too lol)

The camera version is 1.0.6 ;) It's still for the current game version. I found the pause / unpause functions in the game code so I used these to build a proper, solid non-crashing timestop. All other timestops are always based on setting a byte somewhere, which doesn't reliably work in anvilnext, calling these functions does :)

when the game is updated, it likely breaks some features so I'll update it then.

Yeah TU6 or 1.06 was announced a few days ago, first of the free content hits on December 12th (Collaboration with Square I believe and Final Fantasy XV?) in addition to the new trial of the gods challenge (Sekhmet) and what was the last one? Ah yeah two new packs for the in-game store and the two previous ones will be available from Heka chests.

And the update itself adds options for balance changes such as enemies always scaling to the players levels, horde mode and a new nightmare difficulty.

Unsure how many patches Ubisoft has planned for the game, two more at the minimum for the DLC content I suppose coming next year but perhaps more depending on how long they intend to support the game with free updates and that whole marketplace thing.
(Which yeah you can get almost all content for free but 1.05 significantly lowered the drop rates but there's also that exploit even on consoles giving the player 999.999.999 gold which some people have been using to test just how many of these chests you need.)
